Applied Electroless Concepts has performed numerous confidential
research projects for private customers. These have varied from
single day assignments to long term projects. Most projects are
performed at the customer site to protect full confidentiality. While the
exact specifications cannot be disclosed, the actual projects have
covered a wide range of applications. These include:

  • Wastewater treatment and optimization
  • Chemical process troubleshooting
  • Chemical process development
  • Air and gas scrubbing problems
  • Process water recycle
  • Ultra pure water and pure water processes
  • Electroless plating problems
  • Electroless process development on novel substrates
  • Electrolytic plating problems
  • Hazardous waste reduction
  • Chemical recycle methods

Our work has included the following industries:

  • Semiconductor manufacturing
  • Solar cell manufacturing
  • Plating of plastics
  • Electroless plating of metals and other inorganics
  • General Manufacturing
  • Printed circuits
  • Foundries
  • Aerospace
  • Mineral extraction, including fluoride treatments
  • Water purification, including arsenic removal

We have won a large number of competively-awarded grants from
the State of California and from the US Navy.
